We treat QA as an independent service area with its own measures of success and we have been able to place a comprehensive QA process. As a result of this we will own the QA organization for the client, with release responsibility thus ensuring highest quality. To ensure quality in every phase of the project life cycle, the QA team of each project is involved right from the project kick-off stage.
Being client-driven, we are exposed to all the industry standard tools in terms of testing (automation, load, etc.), issue tracking, and so on. Our testing approach has a strong product orientation and incorporates industry best practices.
The Quality Process team at STS has a well-defined “Quality Management System (QMS)” on the lines of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM). These processes are specifically designed to cater to the offshore projects we undertake. The Quality Process team, through its regular auditing process, ensures that these processes are strictly adhered to during the course of the Software Development Life Cycle.Today, measuring metrics is a habit. Corrective and Preventive Actions, built upon these metrics, continue to drive productivity and value for our clients.
